On the streets where we have no name

On the streets where we have no name we seem invisible,
Where the people sleeping rough face horrors we’re blind to,
lost souls in the coldest of mornings but the wiser they are,
among the cold bodies who hardly anyone stops to help,
who need our help in the coldest of winter days,
that the winter months brings.

I can see the sleeping bags on the streets,
the men and women who need our help,
I stop when I can to help those in need,
offering no monetary donations but food and coffee,
for those who have nothing remembering that  I was once,
not to long ago without a place to live.

Just a kind to let people know they are not alone,
it reaffirms they are not invisible this is food of a different sort,
A cup of coffee warms you up and sandwich fills you,
but talking to each other helps us to keep the humanity in us all,
This Christmas please spare a thought for those less fortunate. .

Be strong and courageous every day.

In this day and age we all matter no matter who or what we are,
We can not fault the fact we all have a part to play within this world,
From the street cleaner to the office worker, from the volunteer to the rich,
we struggle to succeed in our own dreams while playing our part in this world,
while some may find it easy but others might struggle the fact is we all count.

As time goes by we grew older some wiser than they was before,
Each day teaches us new lesson with the people we meet or challenges we face,
especially when we face our fears to stand for what matters within our lives,
Stand up and be counted for what you believe, stand for what you know is right,
Be strong and courageous with in the world we live no matter how scary things might be.

Thank you to those who serve’s and protects us.

I know it is only the second of December 2019, but the closer we get to Christmas I find I’m thinking more about those who won’t be here for Christmas. For the first time I’m sitting to watch more and more Christmas films on television, this is something I’ve not done in many years.

I know this year I have had a run of bad luck in my health which has knocked me back but I’m looking forward to next year when I will do better things with my time.    But still this time of year reminds me of friends and family who helped me grow in more ways than I thought possible.  I just wanted to say thank you to people I think don’t hear it enough.

I have friends who served in the military over years.  I’ve felt the sense of absence during the Christmas period of a loved one. Who was away fighting during this time of year. I do support the servicemen and women who risk their lives to keep us safe so THANK YOU MERRY CHRISTMAS.

I would also like to thank the emergency services for the work they do this is every single service around the world.  Especially the police service and fire service who put their lives in danger around the world, especially in America.  It is too easy to think they are our heroes but totally forget that they may suffer mental ill health during their working life.   THANK YOU VERY MUCH,  MERRY CHRISTMAS.

My thoughts also go to the medical staff around the world who will work long hours and rarely get any gratitude for the work they do all year round. Especially during the festive period.  Thank you for your hard work and dedication to everyone who needs your help and MERRY CHRISTMAS.

I would like to spare a thought for those who are lonely this year and the homeless.  The men and women in hostels, hotels and hospitals, living rough on the streets.  It was only last year I was in a refuge because of fleeing a destructive toxic relationship.  I didn’t have a tree and no idea where the presents was coming from.but Thank you to some kind strangers I got some presents for my child so they saved Christmas. That something I will never forget, I would like to say thank you to everyone.

While I admit there’s some bad people even within the forces I have to state there’s  more honourable good people with in the services. 

Finally, I want to say thank you to everyone who has even taken the time to read one of my blogs and a special thank you for every single one of my awesome followers.

I hope you all have a good festive season but an even better new year GOD BLESS YOU ALL.

 

Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is our time to thank those who have helped us become who we are,
A time of thanking those who have come before us leading the way to better life,
A time of remembering those who are no longer with us but changed the world,
we know and should cherish, from the crops in harvest through to Christmas,
from the pilgrim fathers to the Indian nations who helped create the lands,
As they ran from persecution let us remember the refugees and homeless,
accross the lands.

From the earliest time  when the celebrations was purely to give thanks to the pilgrims,
The first thanksgiving with the Indian nations, through to the times we now live where, thanks to god and thanks to our families, the men out surviving to protect our country,
Thank you for everything both past and present.

Where am I now (Personal 6)

Hello,

First thing I would like to say thank you for all the support through likes and follows I have received.  I figured it had been a while since I did a where am I now article.   As those who have kept up to speed with my poems and articles would know I have suffered a period of ill health.  From being diagnosed with chronic obstructive pulmonary disorder and a worsening in my mental health.   Since then, I have been inactive other than writing the books; I am hoping to release next year, identifying the editor and various promotional services I wish to use.  Yes, I released something a few years back, and I have learnt from the mistakes I have made.

My forthcoming work is a chapbook of poetry which I am hoping to release in the next few weeks I am also working on a short story again I hope to release them soon.  Now the colder weather is here my chest seems to play up more and I seem to stay in more. Watching television programs on  Nicholai Tesla, a man I find amazing person who could have changed many aspects of the world today.   What I find strange is that most of the paperwork on Tesla’s papers is TRUMP I don’t mean Donald but his relatives who seemed to lock the information away.   Even I heard when I was a kid the old story of the man who claimed to have a way to provide free natural energy to everyone.

I’m also writing the novels every day, but finances means I have to save to get them published first, which would take a few months to get that together.  I have set up many accounts with my bank to save for various objectives. Billin, save for books, holiday and fixed account. I might be rich when I die but at least I should be better off than I am now and never given up on things even if I might be slow or take breaks while I get back on track with my health.

As for the police investigation I know that my witness have given her statement but I have not heard an update from the police which is something which I find annoying.  But I will let them do what they need to and just think the old way of no news is good news if I’ve not heard anything then they must still work on the case.  Surely if it had gone to the CPS, then I would have heard something by now.  So life goes on and I’m so far from giving up life itself might be a struggle but so is everyone and when someone asked me you’ve not given up anyone else would I usually turn round and tell them I could walk outside and get run over so why stop life but the thing I can’t beat is my anxieties which stops me from going to people’s properties to talk to my neighbours or mixing with people in groups.  I deal with this through Skype with a friend of mine in America and by writing.  Someone I know once called my writing my base it is something I return to time and time again. And writing I have been planning to restart or update my clothing range is on a few sites which I never promoted properly.

Well we are one month away from the closing of one year and the opening of another one that will be better I hope no im determined it will be better than this year.  Every time I write and every time I save money, even I know this sounds stupid but every time I have something to eat or do the basics in my life it is a kick in the teeth to my ex.

Halloween Night

The ghosts walk upon the cold eve wondering aimlessly through the night
while a witch stood over the cauldron casting spells and weaving magic
over the bonfires light which brightens up the night celebrating the harvest
when children dress in ghoulish costumes to give each other a fright
while seeking treats or playing jokes on unsuspecting neighbours
its truly a  time of frightful fun upon Halloween night.
